If the squishy little baby in this newborn session doesn’t look quite newborn-sized to you, you can thank COVID-19 and pretty much any other type of scheduling snafu you can think of! But don’t worry, two months in, we did it! And I AM SO GLAD WE DID! (And you’re technically a newborn until three months anyway so whatever. 😉)
Thank you so much Lila, Steve, Celia & little Stevie for not only entrusting your family portraits to me for a second time, for being super flexible with scheduling, and being willing to wander into the woods with a 2-month-old. But, especially for traipsing into pricker bushes and scratchy grass twice without a second thought while in a dress with two children in tow and out to where the “magic of golden hour” was waiting for you!
Warrior mom, anyone? Did I mention she also gave birth during a pandemic? Is there an award for that yet?
While I’m at it, let me toss up a quick “TY” to the big guy upstairs that we all walked away tick-free at the end of the evening in a state that literally has a town called “Lyme.” 😅
